This self-guided, video-based course contains eight training modules that teach skills and competencies needed to complete policy surveillance and scientific legal mapping projects. The modules include detailed instructions on each of the steps in the process, as well as slide decks and links to tools and resources.

Monthly Policy Surveillance Webinars

The Center’s free webinar series introduce introductory and advanced policy surveillance methods and applications. Attendees will learn the differences between scientific legal mapping techniques (e.g., policy surveillance, legal assessments), the steps of the policy surveillance process, and varying uses for the legal data.

The annual Policy Surveillance Institute is a three-day intensive program intended for individuals interested in learning each step in the policy surveillance process with live, in-depth training from experts from the Center for Public Health Law Research on policy surveillance software and through collaborative exercises.

Learn Legal Epidemiology Methods
